靖国神社で・・

平日でも、小さな子からお年寄りまで・・・ たくさんの人でいっぱいの靖国神社を
訪れて参りました!

「靖国神社で会おう!」と約束し、特攻隊員たちは大空に旅立っていく・・・
このやりとりは「おれきみ」本編中でも登場するのですが、 これは特別なことではなく
当時の人々にとっては自然な気持ち。
戦争で命を落としたら靖国神社に行き、 家族も彼等に会うために靖国を訪れたのでした。

全国から1000人以上の子供たちが集まり、戦争で命を落としたお父さんに会うために
列車に乗って靖国を訪れる<社頭対面>のニュース映像を見たことがあるのですが、
インタビューで
「靖国神社で(父に)会えると思うとうれしくてたまらない」
と答えていた少年が印象的。こんな小さな子がそう信じて疑わないのですから。

もちろん全ての人がそうであったわけではありませんが、戦死して靖国に祭られることが栄誉であった風潮であったことは事実です。 そんな靖国神社の境内には遊就館という資料館があります。
明治15年に開館した最初で最古の軍事博物館で、
じっくり見ると2時間以上はかかる程の広さ!
明治維新から終戦までの日本の歴史を膨大な資料と共に紹介しています。

見て下さい。この膨大な遺影を!!
「祭神」約3000余柱の「御遺影展示パネル」が公開されています。
圧巻です。
最後の展示室では遺書を読んで静かにすすり泣く声がたくさん聞こえました。

 

靖国神社について思うことはひとそれぞれかと思います。
けれど、実際に訪れたことがないという方も多いのではないでしょうか。
一度是非訪れてみて下さい。
かつての日本がよくわかる場所だと思います。

ここは戦没者とその家族のために建てられた館。
そう感じたゆっちんでありました。

遊就館の記事拝読しました。靖国神社に行って、参拝はしておりましたが、遊就館には入館したことがなかったのは不覚です。是非、近いうちに行ってみたいと思います。知覧特攻記念館に行ったときの感動が甦りそうです。有難うございました。

あの中にあった、回天の胴部や壊れている鉄兜や水筒を見て、目頭が熱くなりました。今の自分より若い方々が日本を離れ遠い地で亡くなられたことを考えると本当に感謝しなければならないと思いました。
今の日本は、あの方々の犠牲の上で成り立っているような国とも思えます。
しかし、本当に今の日本のことを思っていたのでしょうか?
先達のことを思わぬ、今の日本のことを・・・。

靖国神社には参拝だけで資料館には未だ行ったことがないので、上京した折に必ず訪れたいと思います。
近隣諸国が日本の政治家の靖国参拝を批判するのはとんでもないことですね。
二十代半ばになった娘にも「俺きみ」の映画をきちんと見せ、靖国へ参拝させたいと思っております。
この映画が多くの若者たちに見てもらえることを心より願うものです。
